No. One decent album, an ok-ish stop-gap, and 4 turgid other albums does not make the band HoF material. And the bands that GNR have inspired doubles the no to a no no.

This. Appetite For Destruction was one of the first rock albums I got into and loved it, but really they aren't far off the bad hair metal bands that were around at that time. If I were to get Appetite For Destruction off the shelf I'm sure I'd still enjoy it for old times sake but hall of fame? No, not for me.

That's not a very fair vote. It's not even a real G 'n' R album.

^ And I certainly hope no-one was thinking of nominating Mr Oral Sex Anagram for the HoF either.

Chinese Democracy doesn't even deserve being a factor in this vote. Horrible album, it's not GNR. I liked their Illusion albums, and Appetite was perfect with only a few flaws. Yes for me.

There's a ton of filler, but aside from that, it's not bad.
