I voted Yes, but I have to say, it's not for the RHCP but for John Frusciante.

There have been thousands of musicians who picked up their instruments because of the Chilis, but NONE have come close to replicating their unique sound...

A HUGE yes from me. I grew up listening to the RHCP and they hold a special place in my heart. They have influenced me greatly, musically speaking. I'm not really a huge fan of Anthony Kiedis like others have also stated, but I'm absolutely in love with Flea and am also big fan of John Frusciante. Anyway, I love RHCP so it's a big yes.
And fun fact, Flea was born in the same hospital that I was haha. |

^ I think Incubus are highly underrated. I personally love them but most people I know fob them off as being too mainstream or nothing special. I thought Fungus Amongus was just great... definitely some close similarities to the Chili Peppers.

Agreed, let's call it RHCP syndrome. While I prefer Incubus' older stuff, I like some of their more mainstream material too... Morning View is a very solid album. It helps that Brandon Boyd is a decent vocalist - maybe RHCP would have been better off with him because as much as I like the band, Kiedis can be a real knob-jockey?

Incubus were quality at one point for sure but rarely have I seen a band go from good to godawful so quickly. My working theory is that Brandon Boyd had magical hair, because it seems like the band started sucking the moment he cut it off.

The magic hair theory! Always applies, always!
I can't vote no to the Chili's, they've had too much good stuff in the past, been part of my life for too long... though i don't really love much of their new stuff in recent years... I can't vote no...
