yes, while they may not be on the MB hotlist, their music and ideas imo is enough that they should be respected as a creative force.

I believe Tool should definitely be put into this. I mean they have such a unique style and Maynard's voice is one of the best I've ever heard. There are very few bands that I can listen to that have 10 minute songs and make me feel like I've been listening to it for only a minute.

Wow! A lot less love for tool than I expected to see... but I voted yes, emphatically YES! One of my favorite harder edged / more experimental bands... most of their imitators could only dream to make music as engaging, compelling and musically interesting. There is NO WAY they should be left out of the HOF... they need MORE VOTES!!!!
