Spot on!

...oops! Wrong part.

Seriously though, barely any of them thought more of themselves than any popular act does, with the exception of Oasis.

So maybe I was making an over generalization. Oasis is just such a big act in the movement I suppose I just sort of got the wrong impression. And don't think I don't listen to any of this music, I quite like it.

So anyhow, Yes because they made good music. Plain and simple.

In regards to the recent discussion on post count prerequisite for the nomination round voting, I suggested that when I proposed this idea and was told it would not be nessacary and though I disagreed then I see now it is. There has yet to be a band whose fate has been decided by those less tenured voters. I do think something like 250 posts should be required to vote in the nomination round however, and usually it works out that way anyhow.

I'll abstain on the Blur

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

I still wanna see reasons for people who vote 'no'. Three so far for Blur and not one word from them.

Good, a valid reason. Much better than 'I haven't heard of these so I'm gonna vote no'
