No from me for a simple reason.
This is supposed to be the Musicbanter hall of fame. I don't see the point of putting in someone who's hardly ever talked about here. I did a search , there's one Chuck Berry thread. It had 5 posts in it & none are from regular members. I'm not denying his importance in music history but his influence in this forum is virtually zero.

Music has a terrible way of acting like someone who was original is therefore great. His contemporaries smoked him in just about every fashion. I think his songs were medicore at best, and if we're going to get hopped up on the PC pill, he wasn't even the best black guy playing back then. Little Richard and Bo Diddly were miles ahead.
Also, He watched girls pee.
