Chuck Berry I don't have time for a huge nomination entry, I will just say that he is the true King of Rock'n'Rock who was instrumental in the foundation of modern rock music and was the most talented guitar player of his generation. He's by far the best artist of the 50s, beating both Elvis and Little Richard by a mile. |

100% yes from me. Chuck Berry was vital to the development of rock and roll, and we can still hear echoes from Dylan, X, Pavement, and virtually every rock and roll band. Him and Buddy Holly are the Adam and Eve of Rock and Roll.
