Hey, I was only listening to Small Change just last night! I definitely have to be in the mood for him as he can very often sound like the drunken oldie in the corner of the pub (which he probably is!) but i still think he's a unique artist and a damn good actor too. IN!

Yep.

Hell yeah. Such a unique artist and one of the great characters in music. Wouldn't be a hall of fame without him really.

I think the real question, if this streak keeps up, is should he be considered "safe."

I think he was always going to get in by a very long way. I don't think he's necessarily safe though, musically he definitely isn't at all and i'd put the positive votes to people here having good taste and embracing the ecclectic which can be backed up by Big Black being put in.

Go on any music forum on the internet and Bob Dylan will be put in but i'm not sure that'll happen on the same scale for Waits.

I've only heard 4 albums and I've been dying to get more. Definite yes from me.

Definite yes. One of the few artists almost everyone on MB likes.

Response for Big3: I have voted no because of the overwhelming number of artists that I feel should be nominated before Tom Waits.
