I have been listening to RUSH for as long as I can remember so, I suppose they were the ones who pulled me into the music world. Particularly 2112 and Moving Pictures.

Lush! As soon as I saw the sexy red haired Miki Berenyi I instantly fell in love! Lush's music ranges from Shoegaze to Britpop. Lush is described as dreamy, nostalgic and as pop.

I had three major phases of interest in music, starting with Ace of Bass when I was probably 3, Blink182 when I was 13, and then Brand New when I was 17.

When younger I began listening to bands such as Korn, Megadeth, Incubus and Linkin Park. I also listened to a lot of Eurodance, which i still enjoy from time to time. Right now I'm even more all over the place with what I listen to, with metalcore and screamo being among my favourites. I must admit that it certainly seems as if my musical preference is shifting towards the indie scene.

i would say the band that drew me into metal was Iron Maiden

then this was further "compounded" by Megedeth

i still have a lot of love for both bands

It was only really Daft Punk for me. I visited a friends and her brother had bought her it or something and we jammed like heros to what was "strange" sounding music to me at the time. Which I loved, asked for the CD for Christmas and got it. Been head over heels ever since

i suppose that if i had to make out a case for which act that made me take music as a serious artform, my briefs would only contain David Bowie
