Even Dream Theater can't overdo themselves to this extent.

I like when an album is well produced but there is a point where you just want to hear raw music that isn't all prettied up. How about albums that are also WAY OVER-PRODUCED?

The Killers used to be good, I loved Hot Fuss but Day And Age sounds so damn clean that it becomes sterile. Still a fan though I must say...

The Killers have sounded overproduced since day one for me. Can't stand those guys. They came to mind immediately when I read this thread title.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I really have to say I think Frank Zappa may have just been a weird ass dude. If we're going to get on that topic, to my ears Captain Beefheart takes the cake on attempting to do something unusual for the sake of it. Just sayin...

Leftover Crack probably over does it sometimes..I know they are passionate about there opinions and all but I see their EP "Shoot The Kids At School" as just being rebellious/hardasses for the sake of it

I think Rishloo has a tendancy to be way too pompous and progressive for the sake of progression and that's what kept me from enjoying some parts of Eidolon.
