Oh, I already listened to this and didn't particularly like it. I'll give it another listen

What didn't you like about it? Discuss your dislikes.

This...

Guys, if you don't want to listen to it again you don't HAVE TO, but the point is to talk about why you don't like it, and what aspects, if any, you did like. It's not creating a discussion otherwise. Which is the point of the thread.

so i listened to the entire album yesterday afternoon while cleaning....and i have to say as a whole its really good....nice use of samples...."dancey" but not annoying...there are strong "Kraftwerkian" tendencies which i love and there were some really good kind of roots industrial drum beats....which kind of reminded me of early Skinny Puppy kind of glitchy drums

i think another nice thing about the album is that none of the songs are incredibly long and they all blend into each other but at the same time work well on their own in a random play

4 stars out of five in my book

This album never gets old for me. I've probably listened to this 30+ times. I think this might be my favourite album of 2010(although I haven't listened to too much). This album has a really fun and carefree sound that never fails to get me in a good mood. My personal favourites are Gianasi, The Murder Cycles and Remote Control.

I really enjoyed most of this, however, I found it lagged on me after about halfway. Not enough new ideas were introduced to hold my attention for the remaining 40 minutes. I did feel at one point as though I'd heard the same song a few times already. Nevertheless, Sunset Everett is a great track, and I feel that this album deserves more time.

I was listening to it and the songs do blend together after awhile. I would check the play list to see what song I was on periodically but it didn't matter after awhile. One stand out track that I enjoyed was Remote Control

This week is djchamelon's choice:

Die Antwoord - $0$

From Wikipedia as well:

Quote:
Die Antwoord (Afrikaans: "The Answer") is a hip-hop group from Cape Town, South Africa consisting of three members Ninja, Yo-Landi Vi$$er and DJ Hi-Tek. The band self-identifies as a mélange of several diverse cultures.

The band toured Europe starting in April 2010 and the USA and Canada later that same year.

Die Antwoord is a South African rap-rave group who released $0$ primarily only on the internet. They later offered the album for free on their website, and then it was finally released last year on CD and such.

Track Listing (From Wikipedia):

1. "Whatever Man" 0:33
2. "Wat Kyk Jy?" 4:35
3. "Enter the Ninja" 5:04
4. "Wat Pomp (ft. Jack Parow)" 4:06
5. "Wie Maak Die Jol Vol (ft. Knoffel Bruin, Isaac Mutant, Jaak Paarl and Scallywag)" 5:07
6. "Rich Bitch" 3:03
7. "I Don't Need You" 3:55
8. "Very Fancy" 2:52
9. "Dagga Puff" 4:38
10. "My Best Friend (ft. The Flying Dutchman AKA Neo SA)" 1:19
11. "Liewe Maatjies" 3:37
12. "$copie" 3:08
13. "Beat Boy" 8:18
14. "Super Evil" 4:00
15. "Doos Dronk (ft. Jack Parow and Fokofpolisiekar)" 3:51
16. "$O$"

I see a lot of links up, but if for some reason you can't find one, let +81, djchameleon, or myself know and one of us should be able to get you a link.

Enjoy!
