Depeche Mode - Some Great Reward

I was really feeling this album. I loved the vocals and I loved sounds, I just loved the album in general. The song that made the biggest impression on me was: "Somebody." I think it was because it was so different from the rest of the album, The slower, quieter songs in a fairly fast-paced albums are the songs that are usually most noticeable so I'm sure you can understand why. For me, it's also really important when a band can do something that sounds a bit out of their element. [= I also really liked the feel of "It Doesn't Matter." The chord progression and vocals gave me the chills. The bands that came to my mind when I listen to this album were The Cure, The Killers, and Alkaline Trio. I know they're all pretty different and I know that Depeche Mode goes in a pretty different direction, but I think what made me think about them was the vocals and the feel moreso than the music itself. Overall, I really liked that album, bob., thank you for sending it to me. I'm going to listen to Garrison next.
