This year's had numerous highlights, so lemme see-
Killer opening number, managing to be uplifting and strangely decrepit simultaneously through a fixating 11 minute run. Who would have thought a nearly unknown soul artist from the late 60's/early 70's would one day collaborate with Massive Attack in 2009? It's damn spectacular I say! My favorite track from Mew's 2009 release. Can people just stop huffing on Animal Collective for three seconds and give this fantastic band the time they deserve?

You know, I've never given a band a chance just because of the people I see (IRL, not on here) listening to them. But if the progmeister says they're worth checking out, I suppose I'll give em a listen...
