I think I prefer this one as well, I like Screamadelica just as much but for different reasons. I grew up with that album. It's like I listen to Screamadelica out of nostalgia, but I listen to this because it's so bloody good.

I'm with you on the ballads. They get it right occasionally but I think most of them are more miss than hit.

I wouldn't worry about it, it's only Kid A,

Again.

Ok.... this album is beginning to tire me.

But then again my favorite Radiohead album is The Bends, so I obviously don't know what I'm talking about

But it's mainstream pop!!!!111one!#!

But more seriously, Story, it's hardly fair for you to slate the whole britpop movement like you do when your favorite Radiohead album is indeed the quintessential britpop album. Granted, perhaps it is more "advanced" or "creative" than something like "Morning Glory" and its ilk, but their roots lie in the same places.

For the record, my favorite Radiohead album is Amnesiac.

Yeah I can't pick just one.. it's hard to choose between Trance, Black Metal, and all the Rock I listen to. They're not even close to being similar.

There are plenty of brilliant albums from the last decade I can think of. In terms of something I can play again and again without ever tiring of it though, it can only be this one...

^ Four (coming up to five now...crikey!) years of playing it to death and it still hasn't lost a modicum of its appeal with me.
