This thread really surprised me, I had no idea people were so split on which songs they hated.

Isn't it weird that with the huge numbers of ugly tracks on the white album, rarely it is mentioned?
Tho I'm one of those that love that album fully, but I have noticed a lot of people on MB hating how the white album is made of great tracks and shitty ones.

There are a couple really bad tracks on it. Back In The U.S.S.R., Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, Piggies, etc. Also, I never really had any love for Revolution 9. I know it's experimental and stuff, but it always just sounded like a mess to me.

On the other hand of course, you have tracks like While My Guitar Gently Weeps, and Happiness is a Warm Gun, two of my favorite songs by them.

I meant "honey pie" and "why don't we do it in the road", tho I don't mind these two... but you just named really decent songs here (not ob-la-di obviously).

Ha... tying in to my above point, people really can't agree on which songs are the best.

Actually I don't really think either of those are good either... the White Album is pretty inconsistent.

As I do love them all except a single one, that I already named, I'm obviously biased :p:

Ha well if anyone's a huge Beatles fan it's you and me. I just don't like those songs as much as a lot of others by them.

Yea - this is a pretty interesting thread. I normally wouldn't participate in a negativity fest like this but for some reason it's fun to know which Beatles songs are hated.

Well - I really like the entire White Album except for 2 songs: Birthday and USSR.
So I'm mostly talking about: Helter Skelter, Honey Pie, Why Don't We Do It In The Road, Ob-La-Di, and Piggies - I guess it's not surprising that people don't like them but those are some of the songs that made me appreciate the Beatles in the first place. Same goes for Blue Jay Way - it's one of my favorite things they did. Also, I like the Ringo songs - to me they're a nice break from the Lennon/McCartney machine.
