Very. I think the song is horrible and paved a way for the wave of vapid pop ballads to come in the 70s and on into the 80s.
I understand that McCartney himself was upset about the disgusting production with all that brass and strings and I'm sure it would be better without that. But the song as it appears on the album is extremely bad. To me it's easily the worst song the band made. |
