yes, fine Dave Gilmour was a genius...but Roger Waters was..uuhhh... not even worth explaining to you why he is better, if you don't already know, you dont appreciate his musical or lyrical songwriting abilites enough to know that Dave Gilmour played what he was told alot of the time...

the stone roses were very influential i think
also, mudhoney for in my view, starting grunge, the white stripes for spawning this new wave of garage rock, and a band who i think were influential in that they harboured 3 of the greatest guitarists of all time (who in their own right were influential)- the yardbirds. |
