Haha this is the first thing that came to mind when I read the topic.

As for more traditional albums, Spiderland, Mezzanine, The Queen is Dead, and Portishead's Third pop up in mah head.

You're Living All Over Me - Dinosaur Jr.
Over-Nite Sensation - Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention
Doolittle - The Pixies

I'd agree with Btown and say Doolittle. I prefer Surfer Rosa, as Doolittle sounds more like a greatest hits compilation or something... it just doesn't flow quite as well together.

Some that come extremely close:

Finding Beauty in the Wretched - Dirty Elegance because out of 18 songs, there's only 2 that don't deserve the 5 star rank from me.
Beautiful Freak - Eels
American Beauty - Grateful Dead

I'm with you on this. I really wanted to contribute something here, but after lookin through every album I have I can't honestly say there's a single one where every song is FIVE stars.

There's plenty of albums where I enjoy every song on it, but maybe my rating system is too strict, or I just don't listen to any of the right music...cause I came up with nothin.

Even some of my favorite groups only have five or so songs that I would rate an absolute 5 when I think about it. Oh well.

Off the top of my head, each of these...

Ali Farka Touré & Toumani Diabaté - In the Heart Of the Moon
The Fall - The Infotainment Scan
Scott Walker - The Drift
David Bowie - "Heroes"
Steel Pulse - True Democracy
Dead Can Dance - The Serpent's Egg
Nick Cave - No More Shall We Part
The The - Mind Bomb
Barrington Levvy - Here I Come
Augustus Pablo - East Of the River Nile
Junkie XL - Today
The Future Sound Of London - Lifeforms
Black Uhuru - Red
Frank Zappa - Hot Rats
Supergrass - Road To Rouen
Midnight Oil - Earth and Sun and Moon

...and probably a few more are pretty much spotless when it comes to quality.

Because of the stupid four image limit:
Electric Tears- Buckethead
Are You Experienced- Hendrix

albums I almost listed but have atleast one four and a half star or lower

Appetite For Destruction- due to "You're Crazy"
Black Holes and Revelations- due to "Supermassive Black Hole"

I'd have to agree, that was also the reason I didn't mention it.

A couple more:
Fugazi - 13 Songs
Minor Threat - Discography
The Specials - s/t
Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger
(Can't remember if I already mentioned Wu-Tang's 36 chambers or not)

Excellent! I had no idea you were a Violent Femmes fan. Their debut is just sublime.
