Most people here are constantly listening to new music and I'm sure not everyone likes 100% of what they check out. What are some albums that you gave a chance and let you down? What's on the way out of your hard drive? What didn't you like about it and what led you to listen to it in the first place?

The first real dud I've ever gotten from this particular blog, which is usually very reliable. This is supposed to be math rock, but it's just incredibly boring and unoriginal. Buh-bye.

AIDS Wolf - Dustin' Off the Sphynx

I've heard a lot of good things about this band, but this was the first time I got around to actually sitting down and listening to them. And I have to say, it was crap. I like noise rock so I expected better; this was half an hour of annoying crap in my headphones.

Was it crap?

I've thought of starting such a thread before. :beer: I'm sure I'll contribute one of these days.

Took it as a personal insult. Someone please talk to this man, he needs to be back with Albert and whatshisfacce before this turns into another Morrissey/Marr deal

I didn't mind the solo album, if anything he's just trying to establish his own style, if you want the strokes... listen to the strokes.
