Magma - Merci

What the absolute fuck were they thinking? Should have called the album Désolé. Bands should never take chances! This is a decades late outrage!

Hopeless Fountain Kingdom by Halsey. I enjoyed most of Badlands and was hoping for a strong sophomore album. I got discouraged by Now or Never but loved Eyes Closed, and by the end I actually ended up only liking that single track along with "Sorry". The rest is either awful, annoying, or generic.

the logic album or the kendrick.

logic had bad executive production, songs were all jacked up.
production of the actual songs themself wasnt so bad i guess, just too much like macklemore, save the world type ****

kendrick had some bangers but some slow ones too..

Pallbearer - Heartless (2017)

Apt title.

Were you already a fan? I haven't listened to the new one but I generally put them with Baroness in the extremely forgettable metal category.

I believe I liked their debut album, but I can't say they are a particularly memorable band.

I thought Foundations of Burden was excellent, though I wasn't gone on the follow up really.

I find Pallbearer to be a really frustrating band. The way that album opens up is just immensely strong. The guitar and vocal part in the beginning of the first song hits me so hard, but then the rest of the song... the rest of the album... the rest of their discography... just kind of bores me to tears.

Maybe their next effort will get me on board for real. So far, I just occasionally return to the first two minutes of that one song, silly as that seems.

Foundations of Burden is the one I listened to when I decided they are the flat soda of doom metal.
