Some of DT's covers are better on the eyes. But yeah, most are awful.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Armin van Buuren - Embrace (2015)

I was looking forward to this release, as it's always seemed that Armin has been able to bring something new to the table. Although Armin's been criticized for going the commercial route in the past, or "forgetting about trance," I have not bought into that. That is, until I heard this album. Despite their lofty themes, the songs are unapologetic in their over-the-top cheesiness, and due to what feels like lackluster production, they also come across as generic manifestations with lifeless, empty cores. Some of the featured vocalists are okay, but I find Mr Probz's voice to be boring (Armin's been using him a lot recently), and I'm annoyed by Kensington's.

Overall, my impression of Embrace is that it comes across as an output by an artist heading into the twilight of his career -- comfortable with where he's gotten, settling into a comfort zone, and not taking any risks. Couldn't embrace it.

Rudimentary Peni - Pope Adrian 37th Psychristiatric

I tried this album yesterday and i was disappointed. i really liked their album Death church and though i didn't like every song the ones i did like were awesome and i felt the band had a special something but i didn't get that feeling at all from this album. not a single song peeked my interest and rhytmically it sounded uninspired.
Does anyone here what albums from them are worth checking out?

Looks like you only have Cacophony to check out now, but Death Church is their best (although I have listened to zero of the many EPs).

Im hesitant to check it out, Death church left such a good impression on me about the band and i don't want that impression to be ruined. im still gonna check out Cacophony out though.

Thnx for the link, that first song alone made me hopeful about the band again.

Got hold of the entire works by Kiss and played the lot in my car over three months.
What a pretentious, dirge of a band to waste three months of my life on.

Well duh. They're only popular because of their theatrical performances.

I made a couple of attempts but couldn't get into it. I'm not knocking it, just not digging it.
