These are just albums I bothered to listen to of course, sure there are hundreds of other crap albums I ignored for good reason.
I can't decide if that goochseed album is the most idiotic or brilliant thing ever, the fact that the cover is a pic of Fantano with hair is making me lean towards the latter but the absolutely painful to listen to "music" probably cancels that out.

It's genius at points. He takes the p*ss out of Danny Brown all the way through as well.

Bloc Party - Four

There just isn't anything terribly likeable about it. The guitar movements are generic to the point of being comical, and the vocalist tries to reach emotive crescendos far too often, with a completely lackluster execution. The instrumentation is... uninspired.

William Basinski - The Disintegration Loops

This is just so boring. Nothing offensively bad beyond it's excruciating length and what seems like absolutely zero variation at times. Urgh. This is the kind of album that puts me off ambient/electronic drone music because it's pretty highly regarded and I still don't much care for it on any level.

It didn't really do anything for me either, and I like ambient music. It would have been great if I had been playing a video game, but it was just so very, very boring.

^ I keep it as kind of a novelty album. "Hey guys, look at this album I have. It's the same looping minimal noise for an hour."

"ok cool"

DJ Screw - 3 'n the Mornin': Part Two [Blue]

Just not good. Listening to it for what feels like three weeks and it's complete lack of anything remotely worthwhile is making me wonder how on earth this is so highly regarded.

Oblivion was a murderous pop song though, probably the best I've heard in a long time.

He was highly regarded before death, but then again I was living in Houston at the time. He probably wasn't as well known outside of the Gulf Coast until later. I never cared much for him, his style is definitely one you have to pretty much live a certain lifestyle to enjoy. And I'm glad that wasn't my lifestyle.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
