The Airborne Toxic Event - All At Once
My friend recommended this to me and now he can go f*ck off lol. I've listened to this a few times now and it has yet to impress me. The music really isn't terrible as such, but the band sound like they're aiming for a big wide-screen indie sound and end up falling way, way, way short of the mark. One thing that is really terrible though is the production, it's so compressed that it sounds like you're listening to it through a distortion effect and it really, really grates your ears after a few songs. It's a 320kbps rip as well and it still sounds terrible.

I finally got a chance to listen to the new Guns n Roses album "Chinese Democracy" in it's entirety. It's actually horrible, I cannot believe Ax man released this crap.

The most recent album by Deadmau5 called 4x4=12. the album had absolutely nothing on it I cared for. I ended up selling it on amazon.com - lost a few dollars but got a little of my money back from it.

I bought because I liked the album cover and read a positive review on it.

got this last time, wasn't impressed, got rid of it

got it again, still not very impressed, most songs are from the 1st album, and they don't improve on them

covers aren't good, besides "Catfish Blues"

also, it's a thin line between "wanking" and "virtuouso"

edit:- the best original here is "Hear My Train A-Coming"

I like Howard Jones songs from that era, although the original version of "No One is to Blame" is meh.

My choice for an album I have without ever really liking.
U2 - Pop

The first three singles are pleasant. The other songs from it that I've heard are boring.

just a total piece of crud - tried looking for redeeming features but it's just too wussy to be considered "metal"

But do you like Human's Lib? His later stuff is patchier.

Human's Lib is okay - too much filler, though

I prefer Nik Kershaw's Human Racing
