Whitehouse are pretty great, but I find myself listening to Grunt more often.

Probably won't fix the fact that there aren't any clear or discernible melodies though

I love this band. They've made some great albums. However, they kicked their lead singer and the new guys sucks. He's got a great voice, but not in the "Ballsy Singing" department.

Seriously, the worst album I've ever heard; sadly.

Well at least the horrible album art is truth in advertising then!

you should try crossing over rather than just jumping right into "power electronics"....there was a great "rock" called Bodychoke which consists of members of of Whitehouse and Sutcliffe Jungend and also members Cranes...basically think of those guys playing [with] guitars....it's actually really intense and good...i'd be happy to send some if you want
I didn't have any idea what the album was when I picked it up. I didn't hate it, but I know I wouldn't choose to listen to it. I would be open to a less extreme aproach to the genre.

I cannot believe this is the same band that put out 30 Seconds Over Tokyo, Modern Dance & Dub Housing, and this came out just 3 or 4 years after that great stuff (1980).

Just sounds like David Thomas warbling random stuff over the rest of the band tuning up.
The song Lost In Art plummets to new lows of any band I've ever heard.

F*cking awful record.

^Hey, I like that album. I find it playful in some totally wacky way. I just enjoy the overall quirkiness of it and David Thomas sounds completely hilarious here. And 'Lost In Art', haha, well, that one truly pushes the patience limit, but 'Horses' makes up for it. The only one I'd say is really annoying is 'Crush This Horn'.

This album is like Cobra Starship joined up with the Blood Brothers to try and write Beat Pyramid.

Really? For me this album is a complete super-gasm of awesomeness.
