and here I thought taking all the most boring aspects of GYBE and putting them together without any of the rock would blow your mind

Lulz. I was wondering why you gave me an album that reminded me of all the things that had just bored me senseless.

Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement - Water Witches [Compilation] (2017)

Another example of ambient/drone music testing my completionist and scrobbling OCD. So utterly pointless that I actually had to just put something else on. I HATE this kind of music.

Pestilence - Hadeon

Incredibly dull and uninspired death metal that lacks bite to such a degree that they could only have performed this without their dentures. I was looking forward to this one too.

I've never heard anything good about post-reunion Pestilence and haven't yet had the heart to check it out. Sounds like 100% cash grab from a band with no other options besides becoming my coworkers.

That's all you need isn't it? Pestilence working in Burger King. Almost a natural fit.

BTW if you ever want to hear death metal you might actually like that is melodic and bizarre and nothing like what you've ever heard, then feel free to listen to this three minute song. I absolutely think that your mind might be blown cause there is no other death metal album like this.

I don't think anyone should. What's that cover supposed to be conveying? Two men in total midlife crisis?
