according to a youtube interview the plan is to re-release the first self-titled QOTSA disc sometime this year and to tour it playing only those songs (though that last bit could easily be a lark). either way i've been looking and waiting on getting a copy of that disc since about 2002 (which was the last time i saw it for sale $30 :( ) and hearing rumours of a re-release since about 2004. someday....

Wow, I had no idea it was out of print and going for a minimum of $45 on Amazon. I must have picked mine up around 2002, don't remember if it was new or used but it was a totally normal price.

Just looked on his site and he's got a new collab project called Eskamon?! Sweet! Sample single here, just released this week. Haven't seen any album announcement though, hope it's not just a one-off track.

And there's a new Amon single! Damn, I need to keep up with his site more.

I just found out that French sludge metal band Year of No Light has a new album entitled Ausserwelt coming out April 27.

yeah i really thought he was going to smaller but more frequent online distribution of his material as opposed to full length discs after the Foley Room, most definitely glad to be mistaken on that one :thumb:

Just found out Menomena have a new release planned will be good.

The only thing I can think of is Ellie Goulding's album - I got into her a couple of months ago and she sounds so different from a lot of other people that I really want her album! I always want a new Mcfly album. Apparently they're going in a new direction and will release some stuff later this year, so that will be interesting!

Just read an article in the Willamette about a new Corin Tucker solo record.
I am now stoked to hear this.
