2007 methinks.Just enjoyed it immensely and still listen to a lot of stuff that came out then.

This isn't easy, but I picked 2001 as well for a couple reasons.

1 - Pretty sure this was the year I discovered the almighty mp3, and it opened up a whole new world to me. Started discovering new music left and right...was alot of fun. ><

2 - And then the second of course would be the great albums that were released like:

Daft Punk - Discovery
The Faint - Danse Macabre
Gorillaz - Gorillaz
The Avalanches - Since I Left You
Jay-Z - The Blueprint
Basement Jaxx - Rooty
Lords of Acid - Farstucker
Zao - Zao
311 - From Chaos

Crowbar - released there last album in a while and it was epic

De la soul-Grind date killed the pretenders

Dillinger escape plan

High on fire ... grew to the masses

Incubus Became Huge

Kanye west and MF doom were huge Madvilliany

Mastodon & the Mighty nimbus gave us a one two punch of SLow epic metal

Probot was a good succuess

Satyricon changed there sound to Black n roll



2004 was epic

I find this absolutely impossible. So much good stuff released each year. In fact I find 2009 one of the worst.
