These songs give me goosebumps they're so good...
1…. Tool- Rosetta Stoned When he pleads/sobs: You believe me don’t you?? Please believe what I just said?? I can almost see that godam druggie fried out of his mind strapped to a hospital bed knowing he is the Chosen One whilst everyone just thinks he’s nuts. That grinding guitar riff behind it just adds to the desperation/****en awesomeness of the song. Also the lyrics: My heart is racing, COZ THIS **** NEVER HAPPENS TO ME! Hits home every time. 2… Opeth- Patterns in the Ivy II So yeah...its more melodic. But it's the first Opeth song I heard and it's so damn atmospheric 3…. In Flames- The Quiet Place Probably one of the coolest guitar intros I’ve heard. Plus Chris Robertson has one awesome scream/growl. 4...NIN- Hurt I love the depraved element Trent Reznor gives to this song. And come on, you can’t get any more depraved than “I hurt myself today, to see if I still feel. I focused on the pain, the only thing that’s real.” Unless of course you're Cannibal Corpse and it's "Butchery my meat hooks sharpened to penetrate Emasculate, gouging crotches I will eat Hung upside down, holes punctured through half chewed Gristle, debauchery with dead bodies, turning green Upheaveal of human entrails...." etc etc 5.... Katatonia - My Twin Love this band, love this son |
