I most definitely can't do 50 so I'll do a top five, and if my list gets ignored due to that fact then so be it.

1. Bright Eyes - I'm Wide Awake It's Morning
2. Radiohead - In Rainbows
3. Dinosaur Jr. - Farm
4.Tool - Lateralus
5.Leftover Crack - Mediocre Generica

It sounds complicated but I think having representatives for MB would much better reflect the diversity of the site then someone going through 100 different top 50 lists to find similarities... and even then who has the final say?

Just saying... organization guys.
I see one fundamental flaw in this idea, 10 members opinions does NOT reflect the opinions of musicbanter as a whole.

here's a thought:

how about each member gets to put forth their FAVORITE album from the noughties, excluding albums that have already been posted, we keep going until there's a bunch listed (say 50 or so) and then if we feel like voting for them at the end we can.

this way it's not so much a projection of what we have in common but our own personal tastes in music combined together.

Seconded, though if its only one album per person then its okay if they want to pick an album that has been mentioned already.

But for the love of God people, think REALLY carefully about this before posting. = /
