Well,I have a very good local college station I'm involved with that I enjoy listening to,but I'm fully aware I'm in the minority.

Strictly in the car pretty much. Which I don't drive much. There are some cool stations down between 87 and 90 FM. They change formats by the hour. From jazz to blues to reggae to old rnb. We have a few decent rock stations higher on the dial nowadays too. I gave up the XM subscriptions. It's a lot of money and they just raised rates to cover the new music licensing fee that pays the record labels and artists. I plug in the blackberry to the input jack in the car when necessary and play my own **** or stream Pandora too.

I also only really listen in the car. Occassionally online if I know an announcement or song premiere is going to be on.

Car radio, thats about it.
Tape deck converter thingy doesn't work in my car so I'm stuck with it. Will probably get a new car radio for Christmas with an Aux. |
Mostly NPR especially on Saturdays
FM round here is pretty bad.One station around here uses Metal in the background while the DJ is talking to make them sound harcore and brutal(which really annoys me) Then they're like "aand here's Nickelback" AAAARRGH OK its 98 Rock lol oops |

OP, if you're trying to get your song on the radio to make money, this is not the place to ask who listens to radio. I don't think we represent you're average person in terms of music taste and listening habits. If you're concerned about getting your music to people that really love music, then you've come to the right place. |
