I've gotta go get that Tortoise cd. The last thing I bought by them was A Lazarus Taxon...really good stuff..Moon Safari is perfect chillin' music. I'll have to give Esthero a listen..

The Last Broadcast by Doves is a nice piece of Oasis-like guitar rock over weird noises that can be very soothing. In fact, it's the last album I listened to sleep.

I almost can't sleep with music playing lest I am REALLY tired (Probably because I have enough trouble sleeping as it is, I don't need any other mental stilmulation) though I will still add a few.
Ambient/Contemporary Classical Saddleback - Night Maps (Some may still have one of his songs from one of the compilations) Max Richter - Memoryhouse Nice to see Bersarin Quartett mentioned. Hip-Hop Blockhead - Music By Cavelight Glen Porter - Blssed By A Young Death Nujabes - Metaphorical Music/Modal Soul Electronic Burial - Burial Jacaszek - Treny Kashiwa Daisuke - Program Music I Shulman Ulrich Schnauss Jazz Bohren & Der Club of Gore Dale Cooper Quartet and the Dictaphones The Necks Just off the top of my head... |
