Slayer. 1987. A nice introduction @15 to the world of live music! The days when you NEVER got I.D'd at gigs. I think I was completely smashed on 2 pints of beer. Those were the days!

First concert - Between the Trees (local, emo-Christian Pop/Rock band. This was very early on my road of musical growth)
First "secular" concert - The New Pornographers (which sucked because no Neko Case) My favourite has to be when I drove to Fort Worth and saw Bob Dylan live, though. Long drive, but it was a sort of personal trip to Mecca. |
