i don't know how i got this CD, but every song seemed worst than the last to me, i rememeber taking it out of the CD player wondering how the hell it got into my collection, and wondering if i should take it to wal-mart and claim i lost my reciept to get paid on the off chance that i had actually spent money on that garbage.

Cool thread.

Crossfade - self titled
Earshot - letting go

I bought both albums because i liked one song on them. Both albums are terrible.

Jars of Clay - self titled
i bought it cause someone recommended it to me, and because i like the song "Closer", so i thought this band was christian-electronica, it turned out it was just generic, boring, and plainly stupid worship music. but their new stuff actually has substance to it, so it's not the band itself it was just that album.

I was 8 years old and it was still the 90s. It was my first trip out of Lebanon, when I went to my cousins' in Canada. These people (my cousins I mean) have the worst taste ever imaginable.

Anyway, there was no cable or Internet in my country (or maybe just in a really expensive price) so it was the first time I was exposed to non-local music. I listened to my teenage cousin's music, so it was between the Spice Girls and every boys-band present at that time.

So from everything I listened to, The Backstreet Boys were the only thing I found bearable. Even now I listen to it (I don't know where I've put the CD, but the Backstreet Boys' songs in general) and feel a kind of nostalgia, lol.

Probably any of the Casualties cd's from my youth.

Pretty sure it was an old Ricky Marin CD...a spanish language one I think. Hell, I can't even remember. I bought it because my best friend was in love with him, and there was like one catchy song on it.

Probably either that spanish Casualties album or We're Not Happy Until Your Not Happy by Reel Big Fish. I got it for the song 'The Fire' and nothing else was that great. There was also this really bro hard rock band my Grandma thought I would like. God bless her for trying.

Man, these guys ruled as an 8 year old  I can't get though that first track without smiling!

Em, I never bought CD's as a child but I'm pretty sure I got ahold of a "Queer As Folk" cd, :yikes: it was awful when I remember the tracks. I was 7. I am excused.
