good albums to play video games too
i've been playing alot of little big planet lately while listening to "everything to nothing" by manchester orchestra, for some reason, some albums just are good for certain things, i notice that my music plays well to videogames but not so good in the car, while other albums are great for the car but bad for sitting around doing something else while listening to (i would use rage against the machine as an example here, although i had a great time playing gta4 to it, rampage!)
fallout 3 goes great with hendrix, my favorite musician and favorite game lol, i love manic depression, im actually have some depression myself, inspired by jimi i wrote a song about it but its not nearly as good as manic depression karma police rocks for RE5 even though u kinda need the volume for it, if it were silent hill i wouldn't bother but it needs it, for me anyway .. i think im kinda rambling now |
You know that Manic Depression (bi-polar disorder) and Depression are different things right?
|
yeah my song is called bi-polar lol, i did know that, because sadly, i'm afflicted with it :(
|
Alexisonfire is always great to play Call Of Duty to.
|
The Mirror's Edge sound track (and the Lisa whatever Remixes) works great for any game like Mirror's Edge.
|
cod4 is wicked, my copy of it broke :( never lend things to your brother, they break it and then dont replace it
mirrors edge is sweet too but i only got to play it for a few minutes, dont have cash for games right now sadly but i got a few i want to get, that and forza 3 |
I got my copy of Mirror's Edge for 20 bucks.
|
any amon tobin album makes for a great game soundtrack.
as for fallout / wasteland style games, it's all about Fantomas' 'Delerium Cordia'. |
I used to listen to Grateful Dead while playing Team Fortress 2.
I don't suggest it |
System of a Down.. most definately.. always powerful.. and very fun!
|
Dragonforce......... sigh....
|
Hollywood Undead, Seether? XD
|
HORSE the band delivers on the retro gaming front.
|
Captain Beefheart (mostly just TMR) and Quasimoto go strangely well Banjo Kazooie and co.
Flobots, Dio, and go well with Wind Waker. But yeah System of a Down pretty much goes with anything save puzzle games. |
Let It Bleed-The Stones
London Calling-The Clash Most OutKast stuff. |
i was just thinking, strangely enough, the only thing that goes good with WoW is the alex jones show XD
