I found out a little more about myself when I first saw this thread.
To confirm the story and try to find a little more on his condition, I visited the BBC news website only to find the same story with little else to offer about his condition.
OK then, I'll try Sky News. If anything particularly nasty has happened to him they're sure to have a man on the spot ready to report any 'Breaking News'...but nothing!
At least no more than I had already read on the other news sites.
In my desperation, I turned to Reuters and then shamefully The Sun website in a vain attempt for worse news.
What the fuck am I doing!?
It was at this point I realised I'd done exactly the same thing with the death of Michael Jackson. To my shame.
It's not that I don't like Morrissey the man. In fact I admire him and his music.
Was I really hoping he'd died? Or at least gravely ill?
Apparently so. I don't know for sure. Maybe I would have settled for a coma. Ironically.
The image of him collapsing on stage and going out in such a manner was in some way morbidly appealing.
Terrible, terrible me?
