Your worst band of the decade?

Yeah, ICP really are the worst out there. Ask sweet_nothing or WWWP, I couldn't make it through even half of their debut album.

Well this thread goes very far to prove that musical taste is a very individual thing. I can't even fathom the answer of Arcade Fire to this question. It is interesting that they seem to be mentioned in roughly equal parts for best and worst of the decade.

I feel like this thread has been less about the actual worst band and more about "which bands do you love to hate?"

But honestly, this is a bit of a tall order... 10 years is a pretty hefty time period in which horrible bands can spawn. A lot of them are equally horrible due to the format by which they adhere, so at least that narrows it down a bit... but you really have to sort through a lot of garbage just to find the crowned jewel of most horrible band in the last 10 years.
Collectively, I think it'd take the NEXT 10 years just to get an average opinion on who sucked the most in the last 10 years.

But being that this is all a subjective thing, I echo what Dac said and say you won't find a common ground that isn't already a cliche'... most of what this is, is a venting ground for who "you" hate the most, and personally, I think there are already plenty of threads around for that.

now, i love Metal, i fucking live for heavy, dirty music that brings the pain. however, for worst band of the decade, i have to give it to (spare a few bands) this whole "deathcore" movement. i'm talking about The Devil Wears Prada, Bring Me The Horizon, Suicide Silence, etc. for those of you who don't know or haven't heard these bands, God bless you and may you live out the rest of your lives in peace. this is uninspired, poorly organized hogwash that says, "hey, let's see how many breakdowns we can awkwardly fit into a song and combine them with generic riffs and mediocre screams and growls".

Antonio - I agree about all of the above. Though brokencyde makes a strong case for worst band of the last decade. I watched their video last night and found myself unable to express what was wrong - I was speechless. And a little frightened about how culture and civilization might proceed in the face of such horrid nonsense. Perhaps we are not long for this world and brokencyde is a harbinger of our extermination. Or they just suck.
