i`m not a fan of anyone. I take each record as it comes.

If I think it`s crap i`ll say it`s crap , if I think it`s good i`ll say it`s good.

I`m not wasting £8 - £12 on an album just to kiss some bands ass if it`s a heap of crap.

Axl Rose should die a terrible death.

velvet revolver (or 3/5) should put away the guitars and just feast upon the success (a lot of it undeserved) they had in the 80s.

metallica should of retired years ago

i hope justin hawkins chokes on his hair.

dont mind greenday, but they are so incredibly overrated.

pulp are the most pointless band ever to grace earth. (their success is based upon one ok song and another **** song)

i despise pop-rock (blink 182, gc, bowling for soup etc).

the doors were overrated.

i hate people who dismiss music without listening to it. i actually have a freind who wouldnt listen to an album because the front cover looked "cheap" and another who labelled a band as "satanic" just from the front cover. (twas the distillers btw).

there you go, theres my controversy.

I hate that. I know people who wont listen to certain bands cause they dont like their name, or dont like the name of one of their songs, or like you said, they dont like the album cover. I hate that so much.

To be fair if some all some metal band can think of to put on their cover is some demon of somesort & have a metallic spiky logo with their name in it , I don`t hold out much hope of the music being original either.

Fair enough, its easy to get discouraged, but I just cant stand the way that people will badmouth a band if theyve never heard them.

Does it matter what made people start listening to their albums, I assume you're talking about Common People and Disco 2000. Wether it was one song or two that started their success, they made at least two very good albums, packed with good tracks, like Mile End and Sorted out for Es and Whizz.
