I used to read Rocksound but then they started sucking up to 'the scene' and became just like Kerrang! Nowdays i mostly real either Mojo or Hot Press. NME is the devil.

I have never read or even touched NME. Is it really that bad? What makes it so horrible?

its the gutter press of music magazines, it's in the pocket of the majors, it indoctrinates it's target audience (teenagers) with sh*t music and horrible hyperbole-riddled journalism, too many reasons,. Their awards ceremony is sponsored by hair gel

i picked up an issue of dadrocker's favourite Mojo the other day for the best part of a fiver, waste of money, but they have good features sometimes, this month it was Big Star, Yoko Ono and Kraftwerk. oh and you get a free CD. but they havent been good for a very long time.

dont like the wire either. pretentious wankery. increasingly hostile to the idea of a journo telling me what i should be listening to, i'll decide for myself thanks
