Berklee is probably the best music school in USA, but since conducting is more classical style music, Berklee maybe a bit too modern for that.

we have them... it's just very few people in America care about them, so we barely use them.

Hmm, I knew a cat who actually got his Masters in conducting. University of Missouri - Kansas City : Master of Music in Conducting Required Courses
All the cats I knew in the conservatory were never low on cash. Even the undergrads could pull down a few hundred a week with part time gigs. |
