^ Scott Walker's the World's Strongest Man here. Probably one of my favourite ever songs for the vocal performance, but on topic, the scat-singing that takes this to its fadeout is just absolutely beautiful. |

I was going to post one of the best songs ever written but all of the youtube results were covers. I'm looking for Moondance by Van Morison.

Another one for me, the guitar solo starting at 0:42 is just... amazing. I listen to this song almost just for that perfect part But honestly, the whole song is a hair raiser for me |

^^^ Well that is pretty much the opposite of how I view Gimme Shelter. The beginning is out of this world.
Good choice with WYWH, another fine tune. For the floyd, both parts of Shine On You Crazy Diamond are bone crunching to me. It doesn't get much better than PF when it comes to hitting the spot. |

First of all, this is off one of my favorite albums, and when you get to this track, it just picks up so fast and they fly into it. But what really does it for me in this song is the lyrics, I love the second verse. Makes my hair stand up every time when I hear it; it's my favorite song to listen to when I'm feeling depressed about anyone that's dead. And it's an absolutely kick ass song, the whole thing is just pretty much perfect. |

Some for me are:
Pink Floyd - Careful With That Axe, Eugene: the scream, about 3 minutes in King Crimson - In the Court of The Crimson King: anytime the chorus is played Beatles - Day In The Life: the huge orchestral buildups Wilco - You Are My Face: midsection Pink Floyd - Atom Heart Mother: anytime the chorus is played
