I lost touch with Jeff quite some time ago but one of my fondest stories about him was from back in the 80's when the band 'Dirty Rotten Imbeciles' came to Boston for a gig. The gig fell through for some reason and Jeff was there and he invited the band to his parent's house and they showed up with their equipment and set it up in his parent's basement and played a free show in the basement which was packed with as many people as could fit down there.

I wasn't aware of it happening at the time, so I missed it, but It sounded like a blast from the friends I talked to who were there.
