Not me, fall and dark days are here! Darker days ahead! But I'll manage. Spring and summer will come again.

No way! What's wrong with you? I guess I could see that depending on what part of the world you're in, but I assume your winter weather is pretty similar to mine. Dark, overcast, and drizzly.

Pretty much. But winter mornings/afternoons where it's bitterly cold but the sun's out. Perfect weather. I prefer it to summer.
Seattle seems like a seedy place, is it? Only because I've seen documentaries, mainly Nirvana ones. And it didn't look very glamorous, but then again they were trying to paint the tortured genius rose from a shit hole and took on the world picture. What's it like? So many great bands have come from Seattle, a bit like Manchester. You guys have Modest Mouse, we have The Smiths. Manchester and Seattle's music scenes > everything. |

Yeah it's not seedy at all. Some areas are dirtier than others as with any city, but I would never call it a seedy city. Violent crime is pretty low as well. Damn right about the music scene though, great great bands have come out of here and the Seattle/Tacoma/Olympia area. Most of which are just known as Seattle bands I guess.
I hear you on cold clear mornings/afternoons...but you said it yourself...when the sun's out. That's the key ingredient for me, I don't mind the cold. I just need clear skies and sun to stay alive.

Too much Grunge came out of Seattle though, so that's -1 for Seattle.
Some great bands like Modest Mouse and Sunny Day Real Estate though. "Seedy" is the adjective the documentary used, but like I say - I think it was just trying to paint a picture that isn't entirely true. |
