Embarrassingly Bad Parts Of Otherwise Good Songs

Ever have a song you really like except one part that's so bad or flat out dumb that it's embarrassing? This is the place to discuss them.

One that comes immediately to mind for me is "New York City Cops" by the Strokes. I love this song but god damn is the vocal intro retarded. I feel shame for Julian Casablancas every time I hear it.

Ow!

I mean: Agh!

No, I didn't mean that at all.

I like that intro! I think it's meant playfully, to mock his own vocal ticks, that he uses throughout that album.

So...Coheed.

It may be miniscule, but you'll notice it around 0:58.

I cannot stand the way he says "baby." So much so, I try my best to fast forward throught that part. It's a great song,

..Actually there's alot of words he pronounces oddly in the song.

It's so self-consciously playful though, I just find it painful to listen to.

LOL. Seriously, I literally laughed out loud at that.

Actually I found his voice pretty funny in general.

The of Yndi Halda's Enjoy Eternal Bliss album is one of the most painfully unfitting things I have ever heard.

This is a pretty standard reaction to Claudio, lol.

LMFAO! I laugh as a fan of Coheed, because I know exactly how you feel! That one word always bugged the shit out of me. I've been a fan of theirs for many years but was put off a bit by the last album, don't listen to them nearly as much now (ok hardly ever). But there are moments in some of their older tracks that made me cringe a little too, though not this bad. I may think of them later.

No particular song but I hate it when hip hop tracks have a skit as part of the track, like at the end of the song or the beginning or something. The majority of skits are annoying anyway, without having them built into the actually track. At least separate them, it just makes it awkward and annoying if you want to use them in a playlist or something!
