Oh, I should have included Toni Basil's "Hey Mickey"!

I can't believe I forgot that one.

I had "I Melt With You" on my list, then I took it off, then I put it on, and then finally took it off again, so I guess I'm on the fence as to whether that one is a favorite, but I definitely like the song and *love* the idea behind it. I think a main reason I enjoy a lot of '80s songs is that are often so upbeat. They cheer me up.

Here's a performance of "Hey Mickey" that I'd never watched before:

I don't think I've posted on this thread before... I've never really been into 80s music as much as other decades/genres but this was always one of my favorites since I was little... Screw the haters, I'll always like U2.

Possibly the best sound quality for a video featuring this track. The extended version brings back a few memories about getting into the better "New Romantic" groups that never really made it on my side of the pond. Steve Strange had some quality help at least on the first two albums.

Before The Godfathers, there was the Sid Presley Experience. Killer music!

Great single from This Last Night in Sodom. You can tell that things were getting very edgy in their world by that time with this video.

^ Nice. I'd never heard any of those before.

Anyways I found some more 80s stuff I like. I forgot the Stone Roses album came out in '89 (I could've sworn it was early 90s) or I would've put that in my first post. Still a killer album, but I don't really have a favorite track from it. They're all great. So here's a good single a lot of people forget about because it wasn't on the album (:
