meh i was thinking that this is more for actually good videos rather than people just throwing out names of good songs.
for example i could have posted 8 different vids of RHCP - Dont Forget me. however i found that the specific one i posted to be the best quality/best performance/evoked the most emotion and i figured some people would enjoy seeing it as much as i did. or another example from the other topic is the song angry chair by alice in chains wich someone mentioned, sure i love the song but the video isnt very special, it didnt bring out very much emotion for me and basically was just a good song with weird pictures in the background. i dunno if you catch my drift, i was hoping to see stellar videos that help add to the musical experience rather than people listing off music videos that dont add to the song or experience at all. |

so why call it music related videos when they're just music videos. 3 of the 5 are the most generic choices for the artists as well...
just to make sure people realize exactly how pretentious i'm being right now the following clip doesn't just apply to one band but to any band or fan that thinks adhering and repeating the past is somehow as worthwhile or relevant to the present as a photocopy is to an original manuscript. to answer his question about people - yes, yes they are. |
