1. Immanu El - Under Your Wings I'll Hide
Very repetitive and about 9 minutes too long. Didn't awaken anything in me at all. Although I think it might make decent background music for something. 2. McDonald and Giles - Flight of the Ibis Got into this one, loved the lead singers voice. Put me in a happy and carefree hippie mood. I will keep this one for sure. 3. The Beach Boys - Hang on to your Ego Never been a big fan of The Beach Boys, always found them pretty corny, but I found this song pretty enjoyable. Might give them another try. 4. The Earl Scruggs Revue - The Swimming Song Always loved Scruggs's playing, not so much his voice, but overall I liked this song. 5. The Coasters - Down In Mexico I loved this one. Funky, dramatic, good story line, great beat. I really like the part where the tempo sped up and the beat and lyrics changed then the song eventually fell back into the original beat. 6. Polvo - Beggar's Bowl This really isn't my style but, I liked the instrumental parts a lot, they are a talented group no doubt I'll do the rest later |

Standout tracks are bolded.
Immanu El-Under Your Wings I'll Hide Great post-rock track. Very moving. I'm a sucker for this genre and stuff like this, so I loved it. McDonald And Giles-Flight Of The Ibis Nice track sidewinder. I don't listen to a lot of stuff like this but this was definitely enjoyable. The Beach Boys-Hang On To Your Ego I can only handle The Beach Boys in small doses. Nothing wrong with this one though. The Earl Scruggs Revue-The Swimming Song I really liked this song. The banjo is just infective, and I don't have any issues with his voice. Nice job tore. The Coasters-Down In Mexico First song I didn't really care for. Nothing really in particular, just doesn't appeal. Sorry. Polvo-Beggar's Bowl Very kickass track, will definitely be checking these guys out. The instruments are so tight on this one, it'd be going on repeat if I didn't have the rest of the comp to listen to. Amorphous Androgynous-Witchfinder Pretty weird song, that's not to say it wasn't enjoyable though. Probably wouldn't listen to this one very often, but that's why I like these comps, it exposes me to stuff I would probably never get close to on my own. Nice choice bulldog. Annihilator-Alison Hell Not really my kind of thing, wasn't terrible but probably wouldn't listen again. Toy Dolls-Dougy Giro Not terrible, but again probably something I wouldn't come back to anytime soon. Forward, Russia!-Nine Not bad. I'd be interested in hearing more of these guys, pretty interesting song. David Sylvain-Forbidden Colours Liked this one. Very alluring vocals with some nice instrumentation in the background. Electric Six-Watching Evil Empires Fall Apart Another great track and another band I will be looking into. Nice blend of funk in this one. Lhasa de Sela-Anywhere On This Road I don't quite know what to make of this one, definitely another song I would never have come across in my own personal musical explorations. The Fall-Neighbourhood Of Infinity This seems to be one of the cult bands on the forum, I've never really listened to them. This track is alright but I'm not sure it would motivate me to check them out further. Have A Nice Life-There Is No Food Wow. This one completely took me by surprise, hypnotized me, sucked me in, and blew me away. Definitely am looking this one up. School Of Seven Bells-Half Asleep What a way to finish this comp off, two amazing tracks. Absolutely gorgeous dream-pop. Kudos to whoever upped it.

Sylvain wasn't mine. And I've got that album on my shortlist to check out, definitely.

I need to spin the comp again to give some feedback and possibly some guesses.

Yeah I'm not sure enough about most of the contributors musical tastes to be guessing, I'll throw out a few random ones. Forward, Russia! sounds like it could have been from FaSho, though. Unless I'm way off.
