Zorn only got in because 90% of people abstained. Nick Cave represents MB more than Zorn.

that's true. I...don't really think that makes him a good inductee.

The only reason people abstained is because they haven't heard much of him. It's obvious that those who have enjoyed him. Maybe his presence in the hall will encourage more people to listen to him. It's great, eclectic music so I think his presence in the hall will be very beneficial.

As for Blur, I wouldn't feel to badly. Their rival in this comp, Nirvana, didn't make it either. Maybe next time.

Well yes, but shouldn't the fact that most haven't listened to him affect whether he deserves to be inducted or not?

By the way, I'm just arguing for the sake of it because I'm bitter about Nick Cave.

That was my worry, 6 positive votes or so isn't exactly representing everyone. People weren't exactly encouraged to delve into him through these rounds themselves, myself included, so i'm not sure if that'll change.

That said i do plan to get more stuff, the Fall and Zappa discographies are a burden enough as it is though!

Get Spy vs. Spy, The first Naked City album and a few live albums from Masada and that's all you really need.
