Based on what I've heard, I don't like their sound at all. Sounds like very contrived indie to me. And I hate their name.

I really liked the song Some Loud Thunder. I got the version that wasn't all static-y though. The vocals were kinda bizzare but I liked that about it. Got the album and have yet to give it a good listen to. I also picked up In The Areoplane Over The Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel FINALLY (been meaning to do that for awhile) and I absolutely love it.

Yes they should, that name is both unweildy and requires too much typing...

Because I wanted you guys to post bands you had questions about too haha. And seeing as mine has not been answered I'll just answer it myself.
The album was nothing phenomenal, but I did enjoy it. I like the vocalist even though its a little abnormal. Nothing made this really pop out for me but I did enjoy it enough I believe. |
