Most difficult to find bands?
Alright all you music elitist! Lol, what in your opinion are some of the most difficult to find bands? Whether it be to download on the internet, or albums to buy or even to find lyrics for them; just in general some of the rarest bands to have access to!
I'll start it off: The fall of boss koala- i have found only one song from them! :( And nothing more! Also, instead of us just stating bands, it would also be nice if we could help each other out in finding them! :D |
The Celibate Rifles spring to mind. I got a few of their albums imported my way a few years ago and they're painfully hard to find otherwise. There was virtually nothing of them online when I last checked either. I'd imagine they're more readily available in their native Australia though.

Tarantula Hawk was pretty hard to find.

try searching for 'the the' or 'all'...
not really rare but most definitely difficult to find in a search engine. |
^ Depends if you know exactly which albums you're looking for. It was a while ago, but I do remember finding a few The The and Talk Talk albums with minimal fuss. Putting 'kbps' next to the album you're looking for on googleblogs often works better too.

until about a month ago there were no mastered recordings of Harrison Bergeron anywhere on the Internet. Thanks to John Galm for upping them, now a select few have it.
Iwanu Ga Hana has nothing on the web, they're probably the most elusive band I know of. |

Tarantula Hawk - Rapidshare Search - (10 files) (You would need to make an account, but it's free! Oh and as for the Iwanu Ga Hana ...it's like they don't exist! Lol... all they have is their myspace page...and that's about it! That's tough though... |
