WolfAtTheDoor, broadening his musical horizons.
I want to listen to new music. I have became stuck in my ways and haven't found a new band I love since I can remember. I'm becoming lazy.
I'm accepting of all sorts of musical genres - I know that when people say that they are usually lying to make themselves sound open-minded, but I am saying that in all sincerity, I am accepting of all genres. I have a fairly limited musical knowledge - it is the best out of my friends etc, but as I looked through the 'last album you have downloaded' thread I came to realise that it is in no way comparable to most of the MB forum users. So, I wouldn't mind it if you lot could recommend me albums. Great albums, the albums that not many have heard of but you absolutely love and you think other people should hear. Hopefully, by the end of this thread, I'll be able to look through these forums without whimpering in envy. |

I don't know what genre you are already familiar with, but why not try some German electronic music. One of my favourite albums of the genre, and it will probably be quite accessible if you're not familiar with the genre. If you are, and you already have this, then I apologise for insulting your intelligence!
Apparat - Walls Do you want a link? I can try and find one.. |

Because this is intended as a thread aimed specifically at me, someone with little musical knowledge. I have found myself downloading albums from both of the threads you have listed and because I have no previous knowledge of the artists work then I am left out in the cold.
It's me asking MB users to recommend to me the easiest albums to get into. |
