So what is it really that separates this thread from the albums you're digging thread or the music recommendation thread?

Because this is intended as a thread aimed specifically at me, someone with little musical knowledge. I have found myself downloading albums from both of the threads you have listed and because I have no previous knowledge of the artists work then I am left out in the cold.

It's me asking MB users to recommend to me the easiest albums to get into.
